As part of your divorce or custody and parenting time matter the court will require the parents to have a parenting plan.  Since each family is unique, although there are many sample plans available on the internet, during mediation you will have an opportunity to develop a plan that best suits you and your child(rens) needs.  The link below will help you get an idea of what typical parenting plans look like and is for reference only. You do not need to have a draft plan ready when you begin mediation.  In fact, many times, it would be premature to do so without knowing what you and the other parent will determine is best for your child(ren).
